This (presumed) first-winter Great Black-headed Gull was found, and photographed, by Nial Moores on the Nakdong in Busan on March 17 2003. Nial called the local TV station, PSB, and their cameraman managed to get these excellent shots. (Note in these images how the broad trailing secondary edge sometimes "disappears" as the bird turns against the light.)
